Photography enquiries

If you submit an enquiry, your name, email address, brief and any optional date, location or photographic references are stored in a private business workspace. They are used to answer your request, discuss a potential booking and manage agreed work. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, or legitimate interests in responding to and administering your enquiry. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.

Website hosting and spam protection

The website uses Cloudflare for hosting, secure delivery and storage. Essential request information may be processed for security. To limit spam, a short-lived keyed hash derived from the requesting IP address may be retained; the application does not retain the raw IP address in enquiry records. Google services are used when Adam responds to enquiries or manages agreed bookings. No private enquiry is sent to a public web-research or generative AI provider by this form.

Cookies and your photograph shortlist

The public pages use no advertising or analytics cookies. Your pause/resume motion preference is kept only for the current browser tab and can be changed using the motion control. Your optional photograph shortlist is stored in your own browser and can be cleared at any time using the shortlist’s × button. The public enquiry form does not save names, email addresses or enquiry text in browser storage. The private Studio HQ uses essential sign-in cookies; Google applies its own policies when you sign in or visit its services.

Private HQ imports

For the authorised owner, a selected import file is temporarily encrypted in private hosting storage for up to two hours. An encrypted browser copy, unlocked by a key held only in the current browser tab, helps recover an interrupted sign-in. Reviewing a file does not import its records. Temporary copies are cleared after import, explicit removal or sign-out; expired copies are rejected and cleaned up when accessed, with server cleanup also scheduled in the background. The original file remains on the owner’s device.

Retention and your rights

Enquiry information is kept while needed to respond, manage resulting work and meet legitimate business or legal requirements. You may request access, correction or deletion, and may object to relevant processing. Some records may need to be retained for legal reasons. Contact the email above to make a request. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
